Donald Glaude...DJ, performer, entertainer...dancer? That's right, DJ Donald Glaude has been known to hit the dance floor...or should we say, the BEACH, in the case of this year's LA Groove Cruise! On the 2006 Groove Cruise, he'll be hyping you up with the eclectic, funky tracks worshipped by his enormous following. With one of the busiest tour schedules in the dance music industry, Donald can be heard at renowned annual events from Las Vegas to Buenos Aires. In July of '06, from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico, Donald Glaude will unleash his music on the Groove Cruise! Like we said, hold on to your palm trees...Donald Glaude is going to be onboard...and he's bringing his turntables and his dancing shoes! Scooter and Lavelle are back! Scooter and Lavelle....these San Diego legends are going global! Not only are Scooter and Lavelle residents all over the West Coast from San Diego's On Broadway and Stingaree to Vegas's hottest pool party called Rehab at the Hard Rock, they just released a new CD, and are making appearances all over the USA and are simply hot hot hot! After blowing the sandals off the 2005 LA and Fall Groove Cruises, DJ's Scooter and Lavelle are bringing new sets, new sounds and enough heat to turn the sand into glass on the 2006 LA Groove Cruise! Their high energy sounds throw you hard house loops and serious turntabelism...from the ship to the sand, they'll be tearing it up for all the Groove Cruisers!  Bay Area Radio Personality TREVOR SIMPSON! Ever since buying his first turntables at age 14, Trevor Simpson has been engulfed in the electronic music business. From Colorado to San Francisco Trevor's passion and mixing skills have thrust him into the spotlight for numerous reasons. Just a glimpse into Trevor's on-air resume will show: KYLD Wild 94.9's House Nation, KPTI the Bay Area's first pure dance music station, and he is currently a Mix-Show Coordinator and Late Night on-air personality for Energy 92.7 in San Fran and also has a weekly spot on LA's Thump Radio (KBIG 104.3). Throw in future projects such as Diva WDVA in New Orleans and XM Radio 81BPM and it is easy to see that Trevor is a hot commodity across the land.
For the last ten years, Trevor has not just been behind the decks of the hottest clubs and the mic of the hottest radio stations. So far, over 100,000 people worldwide are enjoying Trevor's first two itnerationally distributed "Pure Dance Party" and "Club America" CD's and fans in 8 cities tune into him weekly on Thump Radio. Trevor has also been commissioned to do remixes with partner Dimitris Mykonos for Anna Vissi and Plummet amongst a slew of others. He is in the studio with Morrison and Cassie currently producing projects. Trevor recently was signed to an exclusive 4 album deal with Ultra Records, the nations largest dance music label. LA Groove Cruise 2006 DIVA...DJ FRANCES!! Beauty, style, energy and most notably, talent are the elements that make up the sexy young face that has graced the 'superstar' DJ family. A versatile DJ, she excels in hip hop as well as funky, tribal, electro, and sexy deep house. "If it's funky and makes me dance, I'll play it" Frances says. Moving booties from Singapore and China to Vegas and Miami since 1999, we're not sure if the Groove Cruise is ready to witness the stage presence and mixing skills of a goddess! Will you be a witness? THE GC WELCOMES THE LIVE ELECTRONIC DANCE ACT: THE SPEAKER JUNKIES!! Coming off of a couple of smokin performances at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, the Speaker Junkies are ready to show their unique live electronic dance music act with our dance loving Groove Cruisers. Armed with keyboards, samplers, drum machines, and NO TURNTABLES, their LIVE set must be experienced and danced to as it cannot be described! These guys have been blowing speakers all over everywhere...From MTV's The Grind, to a tour in Europe, to sharing the bill with Snoop Dog, Sander Kleinenberg, Oakenfold, Darude, etc. And now, with the release of their 2nd album TEKNO PUNK!, the Speaker Junkies are geared up to Blow the Speakers off the Monarch of the Seas!
San Diego Hip Hop DJ Matty A!  One of San Diego's favorite Hip Hop DJ's, Matty A has residencies and featured performances at all of San Diego's top nightclubs including On Broadway, Deco's, Aubergine, SideBar, Stingaree and Red Circle. A producer as well as an artist, DJ Matty A is booked across the country, with appearances that include Miami's Winter Music Conference and Rio in Brazil.
A relative newcomer to the SD scene, J'me is already making a big name for herself and has a strong following of devoted fans. In a recent feature article in Toast magazine (Feb. 2006), she is touted as one of the hottest rising female DJ's. J'me's music selection ranges from funky house, mash ups, breakbeats, uplifting vocal house and electro. Her music is enlivening and guaranteed to keep a crowd on it's feet, but it is her style and stage presence that truly sets her apart.
